History
S.I.E was founded by private owner Udo Filzmaier in 1994. Within a few years, the company grew from an electronic components business to a globally active distributor and
high-tech development and manufacturing corporation – with complete, perfectly coordinated solutions paired with services for major industrial accounts.
The company began its international expansion four years after it was founded. Today the S.I.E Group comprises the headquarters office in Lustenau, Austria, additional development
and manufacturing locations in Germany and the USA – and branch offices in Europe, the USA and Asia.
