Each action of
one system leads
to a perception
of the other
The digital world has its own senses and sensory organs, too. The targeted use of suitable sensory equipment (such as a camera as the equivalent of the human eye) records signals in the same way as in humans and forwards them via a corresponding (IOT) interface.
Human beings and the physical world perceive our environment with our senses. For this purpose, our sensory organs (such as the eye) register stimuli and signals and transmit them via our nerve tracts for processing.
In the digital world, signal processing, storage and response based on situation dependent algorithms are handled by computer systems such as cloud, fog and edge computers.
People process perceived signals in their brain. This is where the signals are located, stored and appropriate reactions are initiated.
The digital world has corresponding “substitute organs”, its actuators. The necessary action calculated in the cloud are performed with so-called actuators (such as a speaker as the equivalent of the human speaking system).
After signal processing, people react to the perceived stimuli and signals with an action. This action can, for example, be an answer to a perceived question. For this purpose, we again use corresponding organs (as in this example our mouth and the vocal chords).
What does digitalization mean in the
context of this interaction cycle?
We at S.I.E SOLUTIONS understand digitalization as a transformational process of human-machine interaction. Our holistic interaction model shows how similar digital and physical worlds are constructed in a simple and comprehendable way. Understanding processes in the physical environment and implementing them digitally is our definition of digitalization.
The detailed analysis of your business case, business
model and product-related processes in workshops organized and moderated by us is the foundation for the design, development and production of innovative embedded systems and cyber-physical systems.
Subsequently, we implement innovative product and process solutions along our system integration process together with you – our partners.
The foundation for common design and development processes between distributors and digitalization specialists is not only mutual trust but also the agility and flexibility of the development partner. Thanks to our modular all-in-one approach for design, development and production of custom-fit embedded systems, we are able to quickly adapt to the processes, tools and requirements of our partners.
At the same time, we actively reduce complexity through
our cross-process project management. Complex partner coordination, problems with design transfers and loss of information between different companies are permanently eliminated. This frees up valuable resources for our partners to focus on their own core competencies.
Together, this co-creation approach allows us to realize tailor-made system solutions while at the same time significantly shortening market entry times.
