Markus Dillinger
General Manager
Markus Dillinger has been responsible for the strategic and operational development of S.I.E as Managing Director since 2017.
Markus Dillinger has been responsible for the strategic and operational development of S.I.E as Managing Director since 2017.
Before Markus Dillinger became a member of the S.I.E family, he worked as a project manager for automation systems and control technology at Julius Blum GmbH for 10 years. He graduated as an electrical engineer from an Austrian Federal College of Technology.
Markus Dillinger started his S.I.E career in 2000 as a project manager. After only two years, he took over the management of research and development and was instrumental in developing S.I.E from the original trading company into an engineering powerhouse that excellently masters the process of new product development for its customers in over 300 projects.
He puts his heart and soul into driving continuous improvement of the company’s designs, hardware and software engineering capabilities, and ensuring the implementation of relevant standards such as ISO 13485 and IEC 62304-compliant product development processes.
As part of the management team, he focuses strongly on future-driven topics such as strategy, innovation & ideation in addition to the company’s operational processes.

As Managing Director, Josef Krojer is responsible for the strategic, technological and marketing development of S.I.E.
He gained his more than 30 years’ experience in project management and sales in the embedded computing industry, previously as Director of Business Development at MSC/DSM and in various project management and sales-related positions at MSC and Kontron. Josef Krojer was instrumental in launching the new business unit during MSC’s strategic reorientation in 1999, when the company changed from a distributor to a system supplier. Josef Krojer became a member of the S.I.E family in 2009 as Head of Sales. In 2012, he was appointed to the Managing Directors of the German subsidiary System Industrie Electronic Deutschland GmbH and also took over the management of S.I.E SOLUTIONS in Lustenau in 2018.
Known to the industry as a strong networker and enabler, his focus is on building sustainable relationships with customers, partners and high-level executives of various players in different markets and organizations. He is also a member of the industry association Spectaris (www.spectaris.de), the advisory body of the Medical Technology Cluster MTC (www.medizintechnik-cluster.at), the European Competence Center for IT Security eurobits e.V. (www.eurobits.de) and Landshut University of Applied Sciences, Biomedical Engineering program (www.haw-landshut.de).
As part of the management team, he focuses on the areas of engineering as well as the marketing positioning of the company and its services with marketing and sales.
